Filipino actress Liza Soberano and Thai actor-singer Bright Vachirawit sent their supporters ablaze as they teamed up as departing lovers in the latter’s recently released music video of “Long Showers.”

Released on Friday, Nov. 8, the music video allows fans to witness the palpable chemistry between Soberano and Vachirawit during their intimate moments set against the backdrop of soft, dreamy and neon-themed visuals.

Exploring the subjects of love, longing, heartbreak and nostalgia, Vachirawit is captured navigating the emotional turmoil of moving on from his past relationship with Soberano, who appeared to no longer be in his life.

Vachirawit is seen weeping under the rain and underwater. The Thai superstar also gets caught up in a fight with a guy, and ends up beating severely his opponent amid the footage of Soberano walking away.

To celebrate the release of the music video, Soberano took to Instagram to share behind-the-scenes images, writing in her caption, “I had so much fun working on this, ‘Long Showers’ out now!”

In the comments section, Vachirawit thanked the Filipino actress for her participation in the music video.

“Thank you for your commitment, Liza. It’s really fun working with you. See you soon,” he wrote.

Directed by Mamesjao, “Long Showers” aims to draw audiences to a story of heartbreak and recovery, metaphorically like taking a refreshing shower. It shows the struggle to shake off lingering memories and emotions that only feel stronger when one is alone.

Long Showers” marked Vachirawit’s first collaboration with Asian-American label 88Rising. It is also his latest music five months after the release of “Sleeping Pills.”

Vachirawit rose to fame after starring in the 2020 Thai Boys’ Love (BL) series “2gether” opposite Win Metawin. He’s also known for his roles in films like “Love You to Debt” and “Congrats My Ex!”

Meanwhile, Soberano is pursuing an acting career in Hollywood. She starred in the 2024 horror comedy “Lisa Frankenstein,” which marked her international on-screen debut. She recently signed with Singapore-based management group WILD.
