IBAYAT, Batanes — A magnitude 5.2 earthquake struck Batanes on Monday morning (Nov. 18), the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
In its bulletin, Phivolcs said the earthquake hit the province at 11:35 a.m. Its epicenter was traced some 8 kilometers northeast of the capital town of Basco.
